As I grew up and made it into high school. I was living with my grandmother and the Lord placed my 5 cousins in our lives. While I was helping her take care of them taught me a lot along the way. After I graduated high school I was working little jobs but the one I remember was a DSW. While I was working as a DSW I made a promise to myself that I would become a teacher. So, I told my client's mom that I was going to apply to be a substitute teacher and it went from there. I was a sub for about 2 years before I entered into childcare. I started working in childcare with Lametress Bell. Working with her I was able to achieve my CDA and Ancillary. It inspired me to want to have my own center. In the midst of all that I gave birth to 2 lovely boys. I worked for her for a few years and as I did I wanted to further my knowledge in childcare. I decided to apply to work at Head Start. Around that time I turned in my resignation and waited on a call from the HeadStart. Once again the time was getting a little rough but I kept my faith in Jesus. About a month after I had received a phone call for an interview. A few weeks after that they told me I had the job at the Early HeadStart. So I was there for a few years and now I am jumping out on faith and following my calling. I believe every child needs a nurturing and safe place to learn, play, and grow. My experience as a caregiver and teacher is to help your child to build up their confidence and find friends along the way. I offer a unique, warm, welcoming space where learning comes naturally through imagination, creativity, and exploration. Either it's their first steps, first words or first story, I am here to guide them every step of the way, fostering curiosity, imagination, and independence. So, join me to watch your child flourish in a place made for them.
